Many thanks to The Sacred Heart School today who hosted a super chess tournament with 132 participants from the Westport area. It was very well organised by the staff and the 5th Year girls who did a wonderful job in organising and co-ordinating the event.
Carrowholly did really well bringing back 5 medals which included Ethan O'Reilly as joint winner. Ellen McDonagh, Rory O'Donnell and Bobby Lane in the Top 5 novices and Abigail Griffiths as winner of best sportsmanship prize for Carrowholly N.S
