On Thursday 11th December our school community came together for a fantastic evening celebrating 80 years of Carrowholly National School and the turning on of Christmas lights , switched on by our oldest past pupil and our current youngest pupil. Our students entertained us with their lovely carol singing which added to the festive atmosphere.It was great to see such a wonderful turnout. Memories were shared through photo displays and everyone enjoyed festive treats and refreshments. The crib was blessed by Fr Brittas, the weather held out and the highlight for many was a special visit from Santa bringing smiles all around. A great evening was had by all , with funds raised going to St Vincent De Paul. Sincere thanks to all involved in making this event possible and to all who joined us on the night and made it so special.
