Today, the Junior Room were excited to be the only students attending school as 1st-6th Classes were in Galway on their School Tour!
We had a canine visitor, Molly i.e. a miniature pomeranian! We learned about taking care of pets i.e., having enough water for them, safe food, good sleeping patterns, walking on a leash and using gentle voices around pets.
We went on a nature walk observing our stunning surroundings in our community. We practiced safe Rules of the Road etiquette and wore our Hi-Vis vests! We were delighted to meet beautiful horses from Carrowholly Stables and observe local flora e.g., nettles., dandelions, daisies and much more!
We rounded off our nature walk with a thematic book called 'Dogs'
Overall, it was a most memorable and enjoyable day!
